In more than 30 years of building homes in Maine, I have always been conscious of creating a sense of community in each of our many developments. As builders, we have accomplished this by carefully reviewing each property's terrain; designed comprehensive plans, including the identification of significant tree growth, the orientation of each home, and curvilinear roadways, all honoring green space areas; and allowing, whenever possible, for trails and walking paths.
